Viterra Vegetable Oil Factory

The oil refinery technological building constructed by investment of Viterra Növényolajgyártó Kft. takes a prominent place in the life of Matech Kft., our member company acting as a contractor-main contractor, and of the whole KÉSZ Group since it can be considered the largest and most complex EPC project, from design through purchasing and manufacturing and on-site construction. The investment is one of the prominent projects of the region because the technological facility can create new jobs on the one hand and, on the other hand, it can create a significant added value by the technology implemented there so that it produces refined oil ready for food use from crude vegetable oil.

Nothing can show the magnitude of the project better than the more than a half million on-site working hours, the several thousand square meters of earth and reinforced concrete moved, the 1,200 tons of manufactured and installed steel structures, the oil storage units constructed, the 300 technological equipment installed, the 25 km long pipeline system installed with 25,000 welded seams and the electric and control engineering systems installed using 170 km cables.

All in all, the project perfectly represents the direction visioned by KÉSZ Group as the future of Matech Kft. and requiring the knowledge and skills acquired by the Group's member company in the relevant special fields. The key to the success is the knowledge we built on with close cooperation of our member companies in this project and several other projects.
