Design

Design activity is included in the activities of the Group since the foundation of KÉSZ Group. Our design office aims to improve and make better our environment in a responsible way by wide and flexible use of their knowledge and skills and by its innovation activity. In their ars poetica they proudly undertake to design with a contractor's attitude, which functioned from the beginning up until 2017 in synergy and common organization with general contracting, after which the company entered the market as an independent company under the name Bim Design Kft. and then, from 2021, after total revival and image change they have become known as bim.GROUP as the strategic partner of KÉSZ Group and the one of the country's largest general design companies representing themselves in three towns, Budapest, Kecskemét and Szeged.

The general design office, which uses engineering precision and artistic creativity in its work, operates currently with a team consisting of more than 100 employees and has one of the most unique setups and service packages on the market. One of the greatest competitive advantage of bim.GROUP is that the experts of total six various trades (architecture, supporting structure, building envelope, building service engineering, BIM innovation) who are able to cope all possible challenges relying on their joint knowledge base work together within one company. Be it a complex general or specific design, the team is in possession of both contractor's and manufacturer's experience. Using their innovative solutions and design processes kept under adequate cost control, they undertake to satisfy more complex customer demands as well. In order to strengthen their market position abroad, they have extensive partner design office relations with international (American, German, British) partners and, accordingly, they undertake to perform services at various points of the world. The efficient cooperation with partners and the design activity are supported by more than 70 software (including Assemble, Rhino, Grasshopper, Tekla, Consteel, Idea statica, Grasshopper, Revit, AutoCAD, Dialux, Eco Dial) and the designers perform their work to a high standard, in an „openBIM” system.

In the field of general contracting, they have constructed various buildings in several sectors, such as the varnishing shop of Mercedes-Benz automotive factory, the Procter&Gamble factory, the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel in Kecskemét or the Lynx combat vehicle factory in Zalaegerszeg.

Their internal and foreign references covering the wide range of industries include, in respect of specialist design and coordination, well-known buildings such as - Hungexpo Reception Building, MOL Headquarters, the National Athletics Stadium, the Liszt Ferenc International Airport in Budapest, the Puskás Ferenc Stadium, the Kistefos Museum in Norway or the Open Air Stage in Riga.

The BIM approach, the spatial design coordination and the provision of relevant collision-free models are natural for them since they are included in their normal operation and provided during all of their design tasks. Their objective is to ensure the transparency of the design process, to sustain high quality and to support the construction phase free of problems.
