The prestigious Engineer of the Year Gold Ring Award of the Hungarian Chamber of Engineers went to András Balázs Kocsis, Head of Business Development at bim.GROUP, this year. He was honoured for his contribution to the design of the steel structure cladding of the Puskás Arena.

KÉSZ Metaltech Kft. received the ALUTA Award of Excellence at the 2022 competition of ALUTA (Aluminium Window and Facade Association) in the large project category for the design, production and construction of the building frame and facade of the Hungexpo F1 reception building.

IQ Kecskemét and KÉSZ Ipari Gyártó's dispenser/return machine, entered for the MICN 2024 Hungarian Industrial Special-Purpose Machine Grand Prize, has won in the "Product Dispensing, Feeding, Packaging Machines" category.

KÉSZ Ipari Gyártó Kft. won a special award for its deburring robot cell project at the Factory of the Year 2024 award ceremony. The award for "The digitization project of the year in manufacturing" was received by Zsolt Szekeres, Technical Director of KÉSZ Ipari Gyártó Kft., and Zoltán Kardos, Managing Director of KÉSZ Metaltech Kft.

This year, the excellence of the construction industry was recognized again on Builders’ Day. At the award ceremony, Balázs Uhrinyi, Business Development Manager of KÉSZ Holding Zrt., was honoured with the ÉTE Medal for his many years of exemplary work for the preservation of the Hungarian Scientific Society for Building.

Tamás Sárvári, an intern at bim.GROUP Kft.’s steel structure design office has won first place in the diploma competition of the Hungarian Steel Construction Association. Tamás's thesis topic is unique: protecting a Buddhist memorial site from environmental impacts. The Zalaszántó Stupa cannot be converted for religious reasons. The intern from bim.GROUP Kft. would solve the problem by designing a cladding that would protect the structure from external damage.

The December audit was a success and the bim.GROUP team reached a new level and obtained the internationally recognised BSI Kitemark certification.

Csaba Tarnai, staff member of KÉSZ Építő és Szerelő Zrt. and member of the development team, was awarded second place in the post-graduate category of the “Project Management Thesis of the Year” competition announced by the Hungarian Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI). The award-winning thesis was written about the BMW project, more specifically on the “introduction and practical application of Takt Planning in a construction project”.

bim.GROUP Kft.’s staff members were given the Tekla BIM Awards for two of their projects at the now-traditional Construsoft Tekla User Day.

KÉSZ Holding Zrt. won the award in the sustainability category in K&H Bank's competition for family businesses, which was accepted by CEO Tamás Vida at the Forbes Family Business Gala.

KÉSZ Építő és Szerelő Zrt. was the winner of the Construction Award of Excellence 2021 for construction of the Benczúr 11 project in the category of multi-apartment residential buildings. The Award of Excellence is the highest award in the construction industry profession.

The Section of Building Engineering of the Hungarian Chamber of Engineers awarded the Construction Creator Award 2020 to Róbert Németh, the project manager of KÉSZ Építő és Szerelő Zrt. for construction of the Szentgyörgyi Dezső airbase in Kecskemét.

Passenger pier B of the 2B Terminal of Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport constructed by KÉSZ Építő és Szerelő Zrt. as general contractor was recognized by the Construction Award of Excellence in the transport facility category.

The award announced by GyártásTrend Magazine was won by the plant applying for in several categories and it acquired the first place in at least one of the categories.

The Steel Structure Award of Excellence announced by the Hungarian Steel Structure Association was awarded to the steel structure of Danube Arena constructed by KÉSZ Ipari Gyártó Kft. It was interesting in the project that during installation we used a technology considered to be special in Hungary.

Our colleague, László Tornai received the Vedres Award for his excellent work performed as the lead designer of KÉSZ Építő Zrt. for 20 years. In addition to his diversified designer activity, he has achieved professional success, in particular, in the field of steel structures and has become the specialist of steel structures.

In 2017 the Lechner Ödön Award considered to be the most prestigious professional recognition of the sector was awarded to our colleague, Imre Kantó. The Lechner Ödön Award accompanied by a gold pinback and a certificate has been awarded since 1994 to construction enterprises and specialists working in any field of the construction industry who have performed prominent work within ÉVOSZ' member organizations in the recent years.

The ConSteel 11 software package deserved the Hungarian Product Grand Prize Certification Trademark, the award of the Hungarian Product Grand Prize competition. Hungary's most prestigious qualification system, the Hungarian Product Grand Prize announced the winners on the 20th occasion, proving that recognition of quality has become a 20-year tradition.

According to the recommendation of ÉVOSZ, István Szűcs, the general site manager of our Group received a ministerial certificate of merit. The award expresses appreciation of István Szűcs for his more than 24-year professional history and results.

The National Main Square, i.e. Kossuth Lajos square reconstructed by KÉSZ Építő és Szerelő Zrt. was awarded the Hungarian Product Grand Prize.

The common application of KÉSZ Építő és Szerelő Zrt., the Office of the Parliament, Közti Zrt. and Óbuda-Újlak Zrt., i.e. reconstruction of Kossuth square was awarded grand prize III and a professional audience award on the XVIII Hungarian Real Estate Development Award of Excellence.

The Tierney Clark Award founded by the Institution of Civil Engineers (Great Britain), the Hungarian Chamber of Engineers and the Association of Hungarian Consulting Engineers and Architects in 2000 for rewarding engineering creations was awarded to Dagály Swimming Arena the steel structure of which was constructed by KÉSZ Ipari Gyártó Kft.

The award was founded by Siemens in order to recognize the results of its partners in the field of efficiency enhancement and to achieve business or social results. Matech Magyar Technológiai Kft. improved its efficiency in the course of a complex project consisting of three components to an extent that, owing to this, it was awarded the Efficiency Award in 2015.

The reconstruction of Kossuth square was not only an architectural and construction engineering challenge. It was preceded by historical and architectural history researches, complex and complicated transport and public utility systems were reconstructed, engineering feats were implemented during the design and construction of the underground car park and the Visitor Center.

The Four Points by Sheraton Kecskemét Hotel and Conference Center was awarded the Construction Award of Excellence, one of the most prestigious national awards of the construction industry.

In 2013 the Mercedes painting plant and body warehouse in Kecskemét deserved the Construction Award of Excellence in the industrial and energy category. Furthermore, the evaluation committee awarded the Construction Creator Award in the building construction category to Tibor Révész, the project manager of KÉSZ Építő Zrt. for his prominent performance shown in construction of the Mercedes factory.

The steel structure of the Skycourt of Terminal 2 of Budapest Airportwas awarded a Hungarian Product Grand Prize. The steel structure manufactured in the Kecskemét plant of KÉSZ Ipari Gyártó Kft. is considered a unique one on the domestic and Central European market.

The Skycourt building of the Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport was recognized by one of the most prestigious Hungarian professional awards. The award was received, in addition to the designer and the general contractor, by companies that performed strategic works in the project. Such companies included KÉSZ Ipari Gyártó Kft. that manufactured the supporting structures of the airport.

The Skycourt building of the Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport was recognized by one of the most prestigious Hungarian professional awards. The awards are granted by the international jury of ECCS (European Convention for Constructional Steelwork) biannually with the view to support the creative and outstanding use of steel structures in the construction industry and in designing.

The Institution of Civil Engineers (Great Britain), the Hungarian Chamber of Engineers and the Association of Hungarian Consulting Engineers and Architects announced the Tierney Clark Award founded in 2000 for rewarding engineering creations after a two-year break.

The award was won for the technological reconstruction works of the DUNAFERR rolling mill in Dunaújváros.

We were awarded the recognition of the Romanian National Association of Design and Construction Engineers for the design and construction of the steel structure of the ice hall in Marosvásárhely.

Kész Kft. was awarded the "Budapest Architectural Award of Excellence 2007" and a certificate for general construction of the Hungarian Judicial Academy.

Kész Kft. could receive a certificate of merit in the public buildings category for construction of the Lombard Office Building in Szeged.

The building of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics at Bécsi road 96/b and the Kálvin János Reformed Old People's Home were both awarded the Budapest Architectural Award of Excellence. Both buildings were constructed by Kész Kft.

The Kálvin János Reformed Old People's Home (Budapest) was awarded the special award of the National Housing and Construction Office (OLÉH).

The Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the South Great Plain region announced a competition for winning the South Great Plane Regional Quality Award in 2004.

The award was given to the complex of buildings of the Kálvin János Reformed Old People's Home constructed by KÉSZ Public Building Construction Chief Engineer's Office as general contractor in Budapest.

Kész Kft. was awarded a certificate of merit for its outstanding quality improvement work during the Szent István 2000 project.

The European Union's Cultural Heritage Award was awarded to the revitalization of Klauzál square - Kárász street in Szeged in the joint cultural landscape, urban construction category.

The European Steel Structure Association (ECCS) announces each year the competition for the European Steel Structure Award in which entries were submitted for high quality, progressive facilities made of steel structure from most of the countries of Europe.

As a recognition of its outstanding activity performed in the restoration and reconstruction works to be performed due to the flood at River Tisza in 2001, the National Directorate General for Disaster Management of the Ministry of the Interior granted a medal to KÉSZ Kft.

The Csepel II Power Plant was awarded a Construction Award of Excellence in the engineering and civil engineering category.

The exhaust gas desulphurizer of the Mátra Power Plant in Visonta won a Tierney Clark Award.

The steel structure of the covered yard of the MATÁV headquarters in Budapest was awarded the Steel Structure of the Year Award of Excellence.

Kész Kft. won a Construction Master Prize for the monolithic reinforced concrete works of the principal building of KÉSZ Mester Court-house.

The BIG SEE Award for architecture and interior design was presented at the BIG Architecture Ljubljana Festival. The bim.GROUP’s project for Jedlik Ányos High School achieved a podium finish in the “Education” category, qualifying them for the finals.

László Dombi, interior design project manager, has been named Engineer of the Month for April at Magyar Építők’s Competition. To the great delight of KÉSZ Group, László has been adding to the reputation of KÉSZ Építő és Szerelő Zrt. with his professionalism since 2016. He is proud of countless projects, and has plenty of opportunities to put his talents to good use as a timber construction engineer.

KÉSZ Group is Hungary's most attractive employer in the construction and real estate category according to the 2024 Randstad Employer Brand Research. The list of the most attractive Hungarian workplaces was announced at a gala event in Várkert Bazár, where the special award for KÉSZ Group was accepted by CEO Tamás Vida, and Head of Marketing Communications Tímea Zima.

The Bistorant Bistro Restaurant & Winebar in Szeged has won the silver medal at the spring edition of the 25th DiningCity National Restaurant Week. During the event, guests could judge 3-course menus at 190 restaurants across the country.

KÉSZ Group's Budapest headquarters, KÉSZ Mester Irodaház and Udvarház, have received Access4you certification. Based on the certification criteria, the office buildings in Mester utca are accessible for people with prams, elderly people and people with reduced mobility.

After last year's success, Provim Kft. was again the grand prize winner of the Hungarian round of Schneider Electric's sustainability competition, and this year the company will also represent Hungary at the European Sustainability Impact Award competition. Provim won the grand prize in the Sustainability Impact to my Enterprise category for its outstanding efforts to save energy, decarbonise and reduce waste. 

KÉSZ Group's website also stood out among the best websites: our colleagues were awarded the 2023 'Website of the Year' Quality Award in the Industrial Websites category.

Our Bistorant Restaurant in Szeged won first place in the premium category at the National Restaurant Week competition. 161 restaurants took part in the competition and the winners were selected on the basis of 3,526 guest ratings submitted.

The "GREENGAGE 2023 Award", organised by Professional Publishing Hungary (PPH), aims to recognise successful companies that are putting sustainability into practice in Hungary today.

Targeting young talents has long been one of KÉSZ Group's priorities, so we are particularly pleased to have been awarded the Employer Branding Special Prize by the prestigious HRBEST 2022 jury.

Our member company PROVIM Kft. won the Grand Prize of the first Schneider Sustainability Impact Award in the category "Impact to my company". In doing so, it became one of the five Hungarian companies recognised by Schneider Electric for its sustainability efforts.

This year again, the National Federation of Hungarian Building Contractors (ÉVOSZ) awarded the Lechner Prize, the most prestigious recognition of the Hungarian sector, to outstanding construction industry professionals at its annual closing gala.

Tibor Metykó, the marketing and communication director of KÉSZ Group reached the 22nd place in the top 50 list of the most successful marketing decision-makers.

Görgyi Herenyik, the segment marketing manager of KÉSZ Group reached the 14th place on the top 40 list of the most successful brand and trade marketing managers.

The Hungarian companies employing the largest number of Roma were honoured by the Blessed Cross Association (Áldott Kereszt Egyesület).

Tibor Metykó, the marketing and corporate director of KÉSZ Group reached the 23rd place in the top 50 list of the most successful marketing decision-makers.

The Creative lists created in the PR, advertising, event and design fields have been involved under a common umbrella called Apex. In addition to the PR agency of the year, the corporate communication customer of the year was also published. KÉSZ Group acquired the 9th place in the ranking list.

Kész Ipari Gyártó Kft. received the Practical Training Location of the Year Award from the Bács-Kiskun County Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Mihály Varga, founder of KÉSZ Group won the "EY Special Award for Entrepreneurship" in the EY's gala of the "Businessman of the Year".

On 30 November 2018, at the headquarters of Magyar Külkereskedelmi Bank, companies/organisations received the CSR Hungary Awards.
