Four Points by Sheraton Kecskemét Hotel and Conference Center
By constructing and opening the business hotel and conference center of 8.500 m2 in Kecskemét in 2013, KÉSZ Group made a name also in the domestic hotel market, including not only development but also professional operation by its own team.
The complex of buildings was constructed in the spirit of reduction of construction load and recycling in the neighborhood of the former historical, industrial historical estates. At the place of the hotel the four-storey office building of former Fémmunkás Vállalat (Metal-Worker Company) built at the end of the 1960s was located. According to the static tests, the massive reinforced concrete structure of the former office block proved to be suitable for bearing the hotel's structural elements. The hotel's foundation was that of the Fémmunkás building, the Group's former office building, which was joined by the multifunctional conference center suitable for 450 persons as a new building.
The construction was implemented as KÉSZ Group's investment project involving EU grant supports and was performed by KÉSZ Építő és Szerelő Zrt. The hotel's drawings were prepared by KÉSZ Group's designers with participation of external designers. The design conception was adjusted to the target audience's demands and the requirements of the hotel chain but it was extended by considerable individual design and show elements.
The complex of buildings is simultaneously a reference complex of the Group for its own building materials and construction solutions. In addition to the excellent equipment and world-standard services, the hotel is linked to local traditions and natural values in several respects. When it was designed, its purpose was that the hotel equipped with modern technologies and services fits well in the local culture.
The 136 rooms of the hotel are equipped with conveniences meeting all demands and it includes also 5 suites and 1 penthouse. The swimming pool, jacuzzi, saunas and fitness room on the top storey provide an opportunity for recreation. The facade of the building made up from color alpolic metal panels is particularly attractive. The hotel celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2023 represents the Four Points by Sheraton brand in the franchise system of Marriott and we can be proudly declare it as one of the success stories of KÉSZ Group as it was awarded several professional recognitions in the recent years.
