M3 Metro Stations

KÉSZ Group participated in reconstruction of 9 stations of Budapest M3 metro line. The last finishing touches and works before hand-over were completed by placement of the metal covering designed and manufactured by KÉSZ Group for the site. One of the interesting things in the project is that, for the purposes of their preservation, the walls of the stations were covered by a special antigraffiti layer not used previously in Hungary and unique solutions were applied also for false ceilings and - owing to the individually patterned covering panels - the stations receive several hundred thousand passengers a day in an expressly spectacular way. During the reconstruction more than 3,000 m² of umbrella structures and 1,800 m² of cable cover casings were installed.
