It was a complex and in no way ordinary investment

Csaba Kelemen, the CEO of KÉSZ Építő és Szerelő Zrt. pointed out in a separate statement:

"We started the works including complex tasks in autumn 2020 and, as an outcome, the complex of buildings that is unique in terms of both appearance and functionality was opened on 1 March 2023. In the implementation not only our partners but also the specialists of several member companies of KÉSZ Group participated. The electrical engineering works, the manufacture and installation of steel structures and the building envelope elements, as well as the safety engineering solutions were implemented by our Group with our own resources."

We have successfully combated the challenges caused by the epidemic and the war

The CEO of the general contracting company mentioned the challenges, too:

"The impacts and consequences of the coronavirus epidemic and the war situation on the construction industry have put several difficulties in our way. During the construction works the supply of basic materials and availability of resources have become unpredictable. We had to face substantial delays in the supply of premium materials and equipment while, as an impact of drastic changes in foreign exchange rates, we had to face a large increase in prices. The negative, unpredictable market effects on the industry and the resulting cost increase could be compensated by KÉSZ Group by involving its significant own financial resources. The premium category facility of unique design, supported also by the Kisfaludy Program, could be implemented along Lake Balaton, assisting also the achievement of our customer's objectives."

In connection with this Csaba Kelemen pointed out:

"We welcome the statutory measure of the Government of Hungary to allow financial compensation of the construction materials and construction products affected by the price increase caused by the Russian-Ukrainian in our neighborhood and the contracts for implementation of similar construction projects subject to public procurement. In the spirit of this governmental intention we trust that we will manage to find a solution jointly with our customers for the appropriate compensation of our efforts and inputs made for successful implementation of the project."
