Four Points by Sheraton Hotel and Conference Centre in Kecskemét wins award
Once again, our hotel in Kecskemét has proven that it is one of the bests in the country. The Four Points by Sheraton won the Business Excellence Award, which recognises the achievements of market players that have distinguished themselves from competitors through service quality and have made a significant contribution to the growth of the Hungarian business tourism market.
In the presence of 150 invited guests, the bests in business tourism were honoured at the Business Excellence Awards Gala held on 14 June at the ÖbölHáz Events Centre in Budapest. Presented for the 13th time, the award has been reshaped in many respects this year. One of the most important changes introduced to increase the recognition of the award is that this year a professional jury of delegates from professional organisations and prominent representatives of the industry presented the nominations and awarded the bests in business tourism, while retaining the well-known and traditionally popular public vote.
In addition to the traditional award categories of previous years, this year's newly established categories included the international business event organised in Hungary that has made the greatest contribution to the growth of the Hungarian tourism market, the business catering service provider of the highest quality and greatest reliability, as well as a special prize for the business tourism provider offering the greenest service. This year, we looked for the most flexible air carriers in the airline field, offering the widest range of corporate services.
The well attended professional discussion was followed by the highlight of the evening: the award ceremony, which revealed the winners. Prominent representatives of the industry presented the awards to the bests in business tourism in 10+1 categories, based on the votes of Business Traveller Hungary Magazine's professional jury and the general public. The number of finalist businesses received an outstanding, almost 2,000 votes this year, resulting in a very close race between the best service providers in several categories.
This is why we are particularly proud that in 2023, the Four Points by Sheraton Kecskemét Hotel and Conference Centre won the first prize of the category Best Business Hotel outside of Budapest based on public votes
