We organized a school supplies collecting campaign for needy children

The enrolling coming near causes significant problems for many families for whom start of the school year is an enormous challenge. Our purpose was to support enrolling of needy children with a school supplies collecting campaign and to reduce the expenses involved by school year starting.

Within the framework of the school supplies collecting campaign, the Maltese Charity Service helps children with difficult life circumstances in school starting and now we also contributed to it. We helped children with difficult life circumstances with the school supplies donations offered by us. The donation was transported by the charitable organization to the children concerned living in the poorest settlements and to school children living in families' temporary homes, left orphaned or raised by foster parents.

What donations were collected?

All school supplies in a good condition, in a new or new look condition can be a great help. We collected mostly the basic school supplies that may be useful in the schoolbag of a small child. In addition to the basic school supplies - e.g. exercise-books, pens or pencils - we collected brushes, paints, drawing-papers, colored sheets, time-tables, plasticines, colored discs and sticks, calipers, rulers and everything else children may need in the school. We are proud that so many people contributed to the kids' starting the school year merrily in September.
