The event was hosted by Róbert Barócsi, the Managing Director of Metaltech and the Head of Structural and Architectural Solutions at KÉSZ Group. He talked about - among others - the possibilities inherent in the sector and their recent major steps and acquisitions, as well as their international plans and national conceptions.

“The sector has shown considerable development both in headcount and skills” – emphasized Róbert Barócsi. “The unit employing some 750 workers by this time was recently joined by two companies: the Hungarian FRONTAL Group participating in highly spectacular projects by supplying and constructing aluminum-glass facades in Germany, Austria and Hungary and the innovative German frontTEK GmbH engaged in the construction of porcelain facades of buildings” – he added.

KÉSZ Group, which is 40 years old this year, has passed an extraordinary way, however, apart from this it looks into the future rather than in the past. “The results outlined at the lectures and the far-reaching goals may be achieved built on the past of KÉSZ Group, which has been led from the beginning by Mihály Varga and is celebrating its 40-year anniversary this year. In the recent years the Group thought the time had come to raise its international expansion to a new level.”

KÉSZ Metaltech was established for a good reason: “The significant reorganization aimed at operating the company in a new, more up-to-date structure was started in 2013-15. To continue, at the end of 2019 the management decided to set up a completely new brand and a new, conscious team: KÉSZ Metaltech was established for this purpose. In possession of more and more orders, this organizational unit is already capable of being practically continuously present also on the global market, in more and more countries, dominantly in the DACH region and in the Scandinavian region. Building on knowledge is one of the secrets of our success, as it is shown also by our slogan” – he continued.

As regards the domestic market, he added: “Using - among others - our foreign experience as well, we were able to successfully participate in the office building boom and to show good performance also on the logistics market. We have introduced a modern approach and, accordingly, extended our machine park in a conscious way, as well as we have implemented considerable digital improvements” – he told.

Taking all the above into consideration, a new direction has been updated to a strategic level at KÉSZ Group. “Three of our large development projects related to sustainability have already reached the implementation phase”.

Finally, he told that KÉSZ Group did not plan to decelerate, moreover! “We wish to present the level of development we achieved in a new marketing campaign. This is a campaign of “records”, dedicated to present that the highest, deepest and most complex building in Hungary was built with participation of KÉSZ Group. At the end of his speech, Róbert Barócsi gave thanks to the Group's partners for their cooperation: giving special emphasis to designers, manufacturers, suppliers and customers. He highlighted also that bim.Group Kft. and KÉSZ Ipari Gyártó Kft. are partners of KÉSZ Metaltech Kft. whom they closely cooperate with in all projects and without whom the congress could not have been implemented either.
