Key of the future: digitalization and education

One of the most efficient means of reduction of costs, improvement of quality and compliance with deadlines might be conscious digitalization integrated in all levels, numerous elements and operators of which strive already now to expand the domestic construction profession showing a very mixed picture. Walking hand in hand, digitalization and education are the keys to realization of sustainable and efficient future.

Zsuzsanna Naderi, the managing director of Edupark Nonprofit Kft. also took part in the roundtable conversation that emphasized the importance of succession. In the section of Portfolio Construction Industry 2022 Conference dealing with vocational training they looked for the answer whether there was a solution for overcoming skills shortage.

A jövő kulcsa: digitalizáció és edukáció

The construction economy is struggling with drastic qualitative and quantitative labor shortage which is increasing - when analyzing the prospects - first of all among manual workers, both on the middle and on the long run. Consequently the indispensable increase of productivity will be fed by the continuously developed and educated human capital in addition to strong digitalization and reconsideration of work processes (including moving towards modular production). Providing for succession of the physical staff requires innovative strengthening of basic education and the intensive, coordinated development of the employees' competence and professional skills necessary for acting in the construction industry becoming "smarter and smarter".
