The welders of the future have graduated

The value-based and practice-oriented dual training form conforming to the maximum extent to market needs and maintained by Gál Ferenc University (GFE) was established four years ago with the support of KÉSZ Group, in which students are trained in five professions. We are glad to announce that on Saturday eleven welders graduated from the Member Institution of GFE Technical and Vocational Training School. The training was applied for by twelve people, so there was little attrition, which is almost without precedent. Besides it is great news that 8 of the graduated students will continue studies here by learning a second profession in the building and structure locksmith branch and one student will become employed in Mahart Tiszayacht within a few days.

The event was attended also by Mihály Varga, founder of KÉSZ Group who told that for him always profession was in the first place and he has three ones, including welding. He told about the future of the school and training that they would like to increase the number of students from the current hundred to near two hundred. The founder also told that the people working in the construction industry create something permanent, so it should be done well. He emphasized that teams should be built up and in the very beginning of the training it is not sure it will turn out who is suitable for progress. He brought up as an example that KÉSZ Group employs several people who started work as an electrician and now works as a plant manager.

Zsuzsanna Naderi is responsible for the vocational training activity performed in Szeged, Kecskemét and Budapest and she told that the Group was supporting continuously operation of the vocational training institution both in financial and professional terms, provided for the students' dual training in partnership with the students and the church maintainer provided for value-based education of students by its professional program.

In the vocational training institution operated jointly by Gál Ferenc University in Szeged and KÉSZ Group the number of students will reach 150 in the next school-year. In this September a 5-year mechanical engineering technician training will be started for the first time with a class size of 20, of which it can be felt that trust in and demand for the school's training programs is higher and higher.

Those who apply for the training program in Szeged can learn such domestic shortage professions of the construction economy as, for example, building and structure locksmith, cooling and ventilation system fitter, water and drainage system fitter, central heating and gas system fitter and structural constructor and fitter, in addition to welder and mechanical engineering technician.
