We held a topping-up ceremony in Zalazone combat vehicle plant

Now there are numerous grandiose projects in Hungary and ZalaZone undertakes a significant role among them because it hosts - among others - education, innovation or, for example, development projects. KÉSZ Group is a participant in the projects concerning ZalaZone and last Friday we could celebrate a new milestone as the plant manufacturing combat vehicles has reached its highest point, so we could hold the topping up ceremony traditional at this time.

The Lynx plant constructed from some 60 billion forints is a considerable pillar of establishment of the new high-tech defense industry. In the Lynx factory of an interior height of some 14 meters nearly 300 columns were set up recently and the parts were moved in the hall by 100- and 25-ton cranes. The production hall of the plant to be built in the almost 60-hectare area will be one of the largest ones in Zala county with its floor area of more than 25 thousand square meters.

In the event Árpád Tápai, Deputy CEO of KÉSZ Építő és Szerelő Zrt., the general contracting member company of KÉSZ Group made a speech. "Implementation of the project is an important milestone for KÉSZ Group and has a symbolic meaning. It presents and sets as an example what can the cooperation of several companies achieve built on each other, with joint work, support and flexibility. The participants of the project did everything to reach that point" - said in his speech Árpád Tápai. "We still have work to do. We have combated several challenges together and will not stand back from tasks in the future either." - he added.

Several participants took and takes part in the project till delivery. On the one hand, a very efficient and exemplary consortium cooperation was established with participation of ZÁÉV Zrt. and, on the other hand, our several member companies within the Group did and will take their part in the works. The Civil Engineering Directorate of KÉSZ Építő és Szerelő Zrt. will perform construction of the industrial floor and square concrete in the proportion of its share in the consortium; KÉSZ Ipari Gyártó Kft. is responsible for manufacturing the steel structure and KÉSZ Metaltech Kft. is responsible for site installation; a part of the precast reinforced concrete components will be manufactured by dvb Kft. and the transport to the site will be carried out with participation of BauLog Kft. I would like to emphasize that, in a unique way in the industry, the status tracking of design, manufacturing and construction was performed via a 3D model within KÉSZ Group. Furthermore, bim.GROUP undertook a significant role and has performed - applying BIM-based designing - all work phases using almost entirely in-house resources, knowledge and skills.
