KÉSZ Metaltech staff attended Munich conference

Intersolar Europe 2023 is Europe's largest energy industry platform, where more than 2,450 exhibitors showcased their latest products and solutions for the transition to renewable energy. KÉSZ Metaltech arrived at the conference and trade fair with the Solar Parking product, which attracted a lot of interest thanks to its design and low carbon footprint.

Once again, renewable energy and new solutions based on it were in the main focus of the Intersolar trade fair in Munich. More than 85,000 visitors from 160 countries were expected to attend the event, which took place from 14 to 16 June. The threedays provided an ideal opportunity to explore the latest trends, technologies and business models, and meet industry visionaries and decision-makers and, of course, KÉSZ Group also attended.

The three-day event attracted unprecedented interest due to the subject being a very important, hot topic. The event featured many well-known big brands, but also small start-ups offering unique accessory products/components. It is interesting to note that, in addition to companies, the fair also featured stands from provinces and countries, helping their respective businesses to exhibit.

"It was exciting to see that today it is no longer enough to offer a solution based on renewable energy alone, as there is a lot of competition in terms of efficiency, for example among solar panel manufacturers. At the same time, these structures will be with us in more and more places and situations, so there are growing expectations in terms of aesthetics and practicality, and there is also a strong competition for innovation around these. The expectation is that any solution should fit organically into its environment, not just be a component of built environment we have to tiptoe around,” explained Zsolt Nagy, Segment Marketing Manager.

"To illustrate this with specific examples: covering car parks with solar panels without losing parking space, to use solar panels in agriculture in a way that allows light and water to reach the vegetation underneath, or covering buildings in the city centre without compromising the architecture of the urban landscape. We are consulting with several companies on site about our Solar parking product, there is a lot of interest in our wonderfully designed, low carbon footprint structural solution in both the German and the Hungarian market," added Béla Almay, Head of Greentech at KÉSZ Metaltech Kft.
