KÉSZ Group Supervisory Board renewed

As of 1 May 2024, KÉSZ Holding Zrt’s Supervisory Board has been restructured. András Kozma and Dale André Martin were elected as two new external members with strong professional backgrounds and extensive international experience.  

At the General Meeting of KÉSZ Holding Zrt. on 30 April, several changes were decided on concerning the membership of the Supervisory Board. In addition to Founder and Chairman Mihály Varga, the Supervisory Board of the Group – which has a very broad portfolio, a construction industry focus, while being technology-driven and innovative – welcomed two new external members, András Kozma and Dale André Martin.
 

András Kozma is an economist with degrees from the Budapest University of Economics and the Vienna University of Economics and Business. He speaks both German and English. He started his professional career in the financial sector in 1996 after completing his studies abroad. He has held various positions since the founding of Hermes Hitelbiztosító (now Allianz Trade), and subsequently as Head of the Credit Department at HypoVereinsbank (now Unicredit Bank). From 2001, he worked for EulerHermes Hitelbiztosító (now Allianz Trade), first as Managing Director and then as a member of the Board of Directors. He then took over as CEO & Chairman of Commerzbank in 2007, a position he held until 2015. Since then, he has served as Managing Director of Credit Management Group. He is also a current member of the Presidium of the GermanHungarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce and a member of the Supervisory Board of the Credit Management Association.  
 
Dale André Martin is an economist with a degree from the Vienna University of Economics and Business. He speaks German, English and Hungarian, as well as conversational level Mandarin Chinese and French. He started his career in 1984 in Vienna with AWT, a subsidiary of Creditanstalt (now UniCredit), and continued as Deputy Managing Director of AWT Services in Hong Kong. In 1991, he joined Siemens as CFO of the company's Hungarian telecommunications business. From 1995, he served as CFO of Siemens Rt., and from 1997 he was also the CFO of the Siemens-owned Magyar Kábel Művek Rt. From 2000, he held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Siemens' international subsidiaries in Japan and Slovakia. In 2010, he returned to Hungary to lead Siemens Zrt. as Chairman & CEO until 2021. He has also been President of the GermanHungarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (DUIHK), a member of the Board of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) and a member of the Hungarian National Competitiveness Council. He has received several state awards for his work in promoting innovation, education and international economic cooperation and is currently the elected President of EELISA (European Engineering Learning Innovation and Science Alliance), an alliance of ten universities from eight European countries.
