The cooperation agreement on the facade design training to be organized with the professional support of KÉSZ Metaltech Kft. was signed in a ceremony
Industrial competitiveness is an important aspect for KÉSZ Group, and so for KÉSZ Metaltech Kft., and in addition to retaining our current workforce, we also have to pay special attention to reaching young people and for providing appropriate, professional training. Now the company took a huge step so that it could transfer both its knowledge and skills and contribute to the development of one of the significant segments of construction industry. The setup and content of the facade design engineering training program, which was launched by the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology of the University of Pécs in February 2022, were worked out with the professional support of the managers and engineers of KÉSZ Metaltech Kft. Owing to the training program, the students can acquire knowledge that is unique not only on Central Eastern European level but also they will be enriched by international experience as well.
Increasingly modern, diverse and complex building construction solutions as well as the building materials used constantly present new challenges to those working in the construction industry. The professional design of the external appearance of our built environment has a professional and scientific background dating back years, and it is closely linked to the construction design and specialist construction processes. In the building facade design and construction sector, there is a growing demand for the work of facade design engineers, who can be present from the initial stages of investment planning, in collaboration with project managers, architects and manufacturers. These specialists carry out in-depth work on the detail and product designs of the facade structures of buildings, and play a role in monitoring construction processes.
"It is a great pleasure and honor for us that we may participate in Hungary's first facade design engineering further training and it is not exaggeration to call it as a milestone in the domestic construction industry. This training is a response to the current market demands since the demand is continuously increasing for the work of facade design engineers. It is a special pride for us that the training program to start soon is unique not only in Hungary but there are only a few universities in Europe that deal with such training so the participating students may receive such up-to-date knowledge that will in any case represent a competitive advantage for them on the labor market" - said Róbert Barócsi, the managing director and branch leader of building construction solutions of KÉSZ Metaltech Kft.
The students can acquire unique knowledge also because an extremely forward-looking conception stands in the background since the facade design training material was worked out with participation of market operators and the feedbacks and experiences of numerous operators were taken into account when the program was developed. Besides the training aims, of course, to excite the attention of not only university students but also that of graduated specialists in order to grow their knowledge. The final objective is that KÉSZ Metaltech Kft. undertakes a role to ensure that the professions related to construction industry can be considered as an attractive career.
In the opening ceremony of the faculty, Róbert Barócsi made a speech and on 6 September 2021 he signed the cooperation agreement on the support. In addition to KÉSZ Metaltech Kft., the training program is supported also by Hydro Building Systems Germany Gmbh (Wicona) and Hydro Extrusion Hungary Kft.
